The Land... Where All Dreams Came True...

47

By raghavrathi

the beach of life...
the beach of life...

In the wake of night,

The cool breeze blew.

The world, wrapped in the arms of sleep,

Drifting to the land,

Where all dreams came true.

The moonlit night,

Had a lot to say.

Loneliness seemed far away.

Everything was calm and serene,

Very emotion, rested at bay.

I was walking,

On the beach of life.

Just sand,

As far as the eye cared to look.

It all just seemed so grand.

The moon, self imposing.

Giving light to the dark night.

Like a lamp of hope,

In this shadowed world,

Is always a welcome sight.

The water,

Spreading until the infinity.

Always fierce, always pretty.

Uncertain, yet sure of the destination.

Adding more to Nature’s Confusing Creativity.

I stood there,

Alone…on the beach of life.

Warm water touched my feet.

And the cool breeze blew.

Drifting me to the land,

Where all dreams came true…
